Where's the best place to get a fuel pump?
i have a 2002 tahoe ls and it just went out...
my labor is $180 and i see napa has one for $228.. is there anyone that has a cheaper one?

the 2nd link has a lifetime warranty... i was thinking about getting that one...

im ordering $78.98 one. i called them and talked to them and they stand by their products and give a 1 year no questions asked warranty

thats how i felt too. so i went ahead and ordered it. im having it shipped directly to my mechanic and he said my truck will be ready thursday. good thing i just got a g35 so im not out of a vehicle
the mechanic said 180 for labor, i dont think thats to bad... but the pump he was gonna put in was 300 and i just wasnt gonna pay that much...

better learn how to turn a few nuts and bolts, then you couldve saved 180 lol

so true, but dont you have to drop the fuel tank to get access to the pump? i dont have a lift or anything like that so i dont mind having a mechanic do it (FOR NOW)

yes most likely you are going to have to drop the fuel tank. which sucks if u have a full tank of gas to do. but something i have learned from being around cars my whole life, is there is almost nothing on a chevrolet vehicle that is rocket science once you get to looking at it with your own eyes. so im sure you could of figured it out. the only thing after that is if you dont have a lift, looks like your gonna have to get down on the ground
