Fuel pump!!

allright so my fuel pumo went out so i pulled the tank and put anpther one in it and i jus filled my tank up and its leaking like theres no tomorrow..i checked the hoses that go from the fuel door to the tank and its dry its coming from up top were the pump is there was 3 plastic fittings coming off of it jus like my old one and my old one didnt have anything plugging into middle one jus the two end ones what is the middle fitting and could it b leaking there or the o ring i thought i got the o ring seated good but maybe not any ideas guys??????

maybe you didn't tighten your hoses all the way?

they clip on and it didnt leak till i filled it up

Sounds like an o-ring didnt seat or the clip didnt lock and the pressure back the line off the tube.

yea the o ring needs to be locked in place and you need a lot of force to do that, like a hammer and screw driver.

i did lol it was a pain lol im gonna pull it and check them i suppose

finish up all the fuel left in the tank, and when you drop it pull the two hoses with it that run the fuel inside, then fill it up with water, you can hopefully find where its coming from.

well if you do flood it with water you can tell if its a leak due to hoses, or a leak due to the pump itself
