I have a 1999 Tahoe with a 5.7L 350. It has steady been getting harder to start. It has now gotten to the point every time I start it, hot or cold, I need to spray in a shot of Starting Fluid into the throttle body. Has anyone had a similar problem? I am thinking a sensor or something else is not giving the proper richening for starting. Any other ideas? Fuel pump and injectors appear to be working when after motor starts.
Any ideas?

My money's on the fuel pump. I have had about 3 duds in the last month. The origional started fine cold but was really hard to start after it was warm. The second was hard with cold starts but started fine if the truck was left off less than an hour. The third was hard to start all around. Finally the different brand one that I have now seems to have fixed the problem. Everyone I have talked to says buy ACDelco brand.
