Fuel tank strap bolts

Thanks for the help guys new pump and fuel lines are in. Getting the old lines out were a pita!. 20200517_190325.jpg

Did you already install the tank, because if not I would use some rust encapsulator on those ears before installing the pump. Its obvious you get water up there and it must have salt with it or that wouldn't have rusted that bad. You don't want those ears rusting the rest of the way off.

I dint use any but its not hard to drop it again. What would you recommend? I also want to do it to the frame seeing its not as bad as I thought.

I don’t really have any recommendations since I live in a rust-free zone. Hopefully someone else will chime in. I would think anything available locally would do.
