I have a 2007 Yukon and does anyone have a problem when fueling the auto shutoff keeps going off? I have to stand there and continuously start the fueling over and over again. If I go really slow I can sometimes get it to go without clicking off but even then it usually does some times. If I go to a full service station I ether have to specifically tell them it does this or I will dive off with 1/2 a tank. It can't be designed like this so there must be something wrong, suggestions?

i think its a gm thing. the only vehicles i have ever had do this is my current hoe and my old envoy. it drives me crazy, especially in the winter. the only time it doesnt do it is if the car is running while im fueling, but thats not safe.

Occasionally I have this happen, only with the newer style environmentally friendly nozzles. Usually have to find just the right position
Seems to happen if the nozzle is inserted too far into the gas port, then the rubber boot around the nozzle gets seated such that it cuts of ventilation and disengages the pump.

Sometimes I have to rotate the nozzle at 90deg towards the front or back of the car. Ive seen H2's dealing with the same thing at the pump

I've been having the same problem with mine since I bought it 2 months back and found this thread yesterday. I think it's safe to say you're not alone lol

I just had the repair a lot of people seem to have with that evap cooler. I am going to fuel for the first time today here is crossing fingers it fixes it. A few threads make me believe it will.

Well for the first time since I bought it, it fueled right. Seems the evap repair worked. It might come back but it didnt click off once until it was done and that has not happened before.

Mine does the same thing on certain pumps. It's always the same ones that do it, so I've learned to pull the nozzle out some and put it on the slowest setting when at those pumps.
