I understand OBS to mean obsolete vehicle & NBS to mean a newer model.

I only have liability on my OBS. I feel if I put $ into it, I won’t get it back if I get in a wreck. Sure keep it in good repair but I’m not going extravagant.

OBS = 89-99
NBS = 00-06
NNBS = 07-14
K2XX = 15+

I have full coverage, my insurance company is pretty good on giving fair pay outs.

I have documentation for everything I have done for proof if I need it..... for resale or insurance claim.

NOTE: when I totaled my 02 S-Blazer Xtreme, they called me back and asked if the truck had heated mirrors(it did).....they gave me another $54. They also gave me credit for the wheels, drop kit and performance parts. I bought as an off lease return. I got it before is was in the computer with the dealer.. I bought it for 11k and got 16K for the pay out; I had put $1500 in to it and had only made 2 payments. Made $3500 to total a truck LOL
