On the 10 bolt it would have to have the inside end of the axle break off, where the "C" clip is, in order for the axle to come out while driving.

if the hub broke off it would just come out of caliper as that is floating. it wouldnt hold it on . probably it woild destory it on way out but the caliper and rotor are not structural, only the hub and brake ancher plate (housing) are.. full floating makes hub separate from axle and attaches it to the stronger, housing instead.correct, it would also have to break the rotor and caliper and such to actually come out of there.
