Full size spare wheel tire, pics inside

Well since i installed Wilwood BBK i needed to get some 20" wheels and tires for winter time bc i wanted to save 22" OEM snow flake wheels from salt. Since 2016 i had 17" Blizzaks mounted on Cragar Soft 8s but with Willwood i needed 20" . So i got black 4 12 spoke Yukon/Sierra replicas from market place and one more from Amazon for spare. For space i bought Nitto 420V 275-55/20", i will be using same 420Vs on my 22" when they get bold. Anyway. I read somewhere that full size wheel cant be installed on spare tire hoist because its too heavy. Well i weight 17" steer spare wheel and tire. 69.9 lbs. Than i weight 20" black replica with Nitto tire. 70.1lbs. So yeah houst will hold it. Also i weight 22" OEM snow flake, 80lbs even.Ground clearance between ground and spare tire mounted with OEM 17 spare wheel/tire is 7.5" with 2/4 drop, with 20" full size wheel/tire is 7". I've contemplated getting a full size spare mounted up but wasn't sure if the diameter would be too big to fit it under there.
I run a 275/70/18 so I'll need to do some measuring..but now I have the motivation.
I'll need to see if a 265/75/17 BFG K02 will fit on the 17" spare and not be too large/heavy.

With 275/55/20 tire or 31.9 overal diameter i had about 1/4 gap between rear of tire and bumper and 1" between fromt of tire and 32mm Eiback swaybar, OEM rear swaybar is 28mm. So your 265/70/18 is 33.2" and 265/75/17 is 32.6". Both of them should fit and you could push against that bottom lip of rear bumper so bumper doesnt flap like i see on many cars doing 70mph, and i see them a lot doing that all day long behind of steering wheel on my 18-wheeler

I have a full size 22in Denali wheel mounted under my Yukon XL Denali on the stock 285/45/22. No issues for a long time now. Do yourself a favor Slow5.0 and flip it over so the wheel face is facing up toward the body. You'll reduce the scuffing/etc. from road debris/gravel/etc.

Is it just my old eyes(?) or does that spare hang just a little too low? IMO it looks like it will get ripped off when you go over a speed bump. But if it works for you!

Oem spare tire is 265/70-17, this full size 275/55-20 so full size is wider. Also pics with 17" spare was taken from higher position. Anyway in 1st post i said with 17" spare with 2/4 drop is 7.5" between ground and spare tire in the front. With full size 20" is 7". So its 1/2 lower now. With stock height and big a$$ rake on the back clearance would be 11" and would clear any speed bump out there
