Full sized spare?

I've got a 2021 Z71. When I needed new tires, I went from the stock 275/60R20 which is a 31.5" tire to a taller (but not wider) 275/65R20 which is a 33" tire and then purchased a stock 20" matching rim and a full size spare. While the owners manual says that a full size spare will NOT fit underneath, I tried it out and was able to get up into the underneath spare tire area. It seems to sit in the same spot as the 265/70R17 "Temporary Use Only" spare that came with the SUV. The second photo shows that the exit angle is not significantly affected.
