SO I HAD STARTED A A THREAD ABOUT MY NEW VOLANT CAI AND THE RUMBLE SOUND IT GIVES ME. I DID STATE THAT THE SOUND WAS MINIMIZED BY TIGHTENING THE CLAMPS AND BOLTS. HOWEVER, I WAS LOOKING AROUND THIS FORUM AND CAME ACCROSS A THREAD WHERE IT STATES THAT THE EXTRA TUBING HANGING FROM THE OEM INTAKE TUBE IS THERE FOR A REASON AND IT MAKES A DIFF. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? I'VE BEEN THINKING IF I KEEP MY STOCK TUBE AND CONNECT IT TO THE VOLANT CAI HOUSING AND FILTER, HOW WILL THAT WORK, HAS ANY OF YOU GUYS TRIED THIS?

P.S. THE FIRST RESPONSE ON THIS PAGE IS BY BRAD, WHERE IT STATES THAT THE FUNKY EXTRA TUBING FROM THE OEM INTAKE MAKES A DIFF.
