I’m going to wait like it did on both my Escalades, wait till mid model and wait for the kinks to be worked out. Apparently I jumped the gun on my 17 and wish I would of had an 18. But 1st model year GM cars are usually a no go for me.

What’s wrong with you’re 17? You have that awesome rear view mirror video display. Or do you just wish you had the 10 speed?

Normally i agree with this, never buy 1st model year revamp of any brand.....but 1 exception, my 08 accord... drove it home oct 31 2007, new body style, and its still going strong at 340,000....

Wish I had the 10 speed, it drives like a totally different beast. I was content with the 17 till I drove an 18, the 17 always felt like it was tuned for better gas mileage, almost never going over 2k rpm. The 18 seems to always be in the power band. 3k Rpm wasn’t unusual for even casual driving. Found myself doing triple digits without realizing

Getting rid of the column shifter! That’s a mistake.

Without reading through all of these pages. Can someone sum up what we know about the 2020. What improvements are made? Wondering if I should get a 2019 or wait for the 2020. Thank you.

Yes, dont buy the first year model change of any vehicle, get a 19, trade it in about3-4 yrs from now and you’re goid.
