I know everyone complains about new styling when it comes out, but that 2021 front end is ugly, and it will not grow on me. It hasn't on the trucks. I am so glad we got a 2017 Suburban.

And I would absolutely get an Expedition over this if I was shopping new today. It looks better overall (save the taillights).

Not really digging the Z71 front end but kinda like the Tahoe front end. It fits the SUV much better than the trucks.

Exactly what I thought. Looks even MORE like the expy now lol
Of course - ford copied gm so what do you expect?

After seeing a long you tube vid on all 4 models, I am convinced the ********** of gm in this market will continue; they look much better in video than pics. They addressed the tiny mirrors, rear seating space/adjustability, and a larger flat storage area. I also like the phone charger not being in armrest, as I have dumped my phone into the second row more than a few times. 4 inches of adjustment on air suspension travel is sweet. And shifter arms havent been mechanical for a long time - its all been aesthetic. What else do you want?

The front end of the Tahoe is from the Silverado and is actually quite nice in person. There are compound curves you don't see in the pictures....

I'm actually pleasant surprised - my '16 Suburban Z71 now has 90k on it and i've been thinking about options to replace in a year or so - the Ram Limited impresses me. Looks like GM crossed off alot of my current dislikes:
  • Looks like they made the mirrors larger
  • Sounds like they improved the ride (there are some first impressions from a ride-along out there)
  • Air suspension avail (as on the RAM)
  • 2nd row seats now slide
  • Much more interior room
  • 10spd across the board
  • 6.2L more widely available ? Not yet clear
  • Headlights that actually light up the road? Not yet clear
The styling is subjective as always but none of these things - including the competition - are works of art. Only so much you can do with a big box going down the road..

SHOCKING! Lol
Ford Fanboi Troll says what?

Another plus, which ford doesnt get, is the style is evolutionary, not revolutionary. Every expy owner from the last gen is driving a hideously outdated looking ride - and they know it. The new gms, in contrast, dont immediately and completely put current gen owners out to pasture. Lots of familiarity inside. I can wait for them to work the bugs out while still enjoying my current burb...
