Last time I hooked a big trailer on the suburban, I had an issue with the trailer brakes constantly hanging up somewhat, wound up having to back the trailer brakes all the way down, and use just truck brakes to help a buddy move that night (which wasn't so nice to the truck's brakes)

Only notable change with the electrical was the addition of the taillights, other buddy used same trailer with his dodge and didn't have any problems with it, so I'm wondering if it something to do with the led tails, the resistors etc. causing problems.

Just curious if anyone else has ran into any headaches?

Don't know of that issue with anyone else. Thought the resistors only affected the turn signals. Very likely it is back feeding the controller. How and where do you have the controller wired up?

Wired into the factory pigtail under the steering column. Same way its been since the night i brought the truck home from the dealer.
