So, the transmission was slipping before the cooler line was replaced? If so, then the replacement of the cooler line, I assume it was leaking, and then refill, may not fix a transmission that was already slipping. Do they teach punctuation and sentence structure in Canada? Very hard to follow your "one long statements".

Ok ok tire changed my cooler line for me was still slipping when shifting after I picked it up so I checked the fluid level it was way over the fill line by like 2”-3” and the fluid is now brown and bubbly looking and smells burnt
So a business called Ok Tire changed your cooler line?

Punctuation and Capitalization goes a long way in helping people understand what you’re trying to communicate.

Why did you have them change the cooler line in the first place? You say it “was still slipping when shifting”, was it slipping before you had the work done?

Changing the cooler line would do nothing to fix a slipping transmission.

What was the condition of the fluid before you had the work done?

It feels to me that there is something missing here and we are not getting the whole story of how the vehicle ran before all the work was done.

@NickTransmissions - any thoughts on this? Would simply over filling the fluid cause this?

Ok this is my wife’s vehicle and I am the one who has to constantly repair it. The cooling line was leaking slowly so we purchased a new line. Made an appointment to get ok tire to change the line. Apon driving it home from the shop it was slipping and hard shifting, so I pulled over and checked the fluid level was way overfull ! So I informed my wife about this and she said well I need my vehicle and continues using it even though it’s slipping .

It was slipping because the fluid level was low from the leak that is why we changed the line

If it was slipping before, the damage to the transmission was probably already done before the cooler line was replaced. This is likely not the result of any work the shop did and they will tell you as much.

I would start looking for a different transmission whether it is just a transmission, or it comes installed in a new vehicle.

Use a hand pump and pull fluid out of it, a little at a time, till it is just at the full mark and then drive it. This slow procedure will take a couple hours, with patience.
