Is there a one time gas guzzler tax on 2022 Yukon Denali (6.2 engine). Not sure how this gas guzzler tax work. Thank you in advance.

looked it up , appears to affect only the Sale, lease or transfer of ownership to a motorvehicle (non commercial) that gets less than 21.5 mpg. and it appears to be a one time tax

Yes. Thanks. I did too but couldn't find the exact answer. Based your answer, then 2022 Denali with 6.2 engine will have this one time gas guzzler tax.

I thought it would be indicated on the window sticker. I take it I am incorrect about the windows sticker part.

Gas guzzler tax doesn't apply to Trucks and SUV's. On passenger cars, where it applies, it IS on the Moroney Label (window sticker)

I didn't know it was still around. It was much publicized in the early 1990s along with the Luxury Tax.
