THEN THE BEST PART THAT HAPPENED ABOUT 36 HOURS LATER...



THATS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU DON'T REPLACE THE FUEL PUMP... so after about an hour and a half hand pumping 30 gallons of gas back out of the hoe pulling the tank back out again and dropping in the $100 Delphi Pump shes good as NEW!

Overall changing it all out is easy as HELL once you get the lines undone. Anyone with basic tools and a jack can do this. don't pay the dealer $800 for this crap.

We need to start getting some of these threads stickied.

same procudure for an 01 too, but they left out, drop the back of the tank 1st and make sure that you dont try to lower the tank with your leg as it will be pinned under because gravity makes what fuel that is left in it go to that end. i would still be under there if my wife wouldnt have heard me yelling to go get my prybar.
