Gas smell

Since last week I notice a gassy smell come from the left rear tire it's not comein from the gas tank but underneath . What do yous think ? I rad it could be the fual pump . Lmk what you guys think . I have a 07 tahoe

Fuel Pump. seems like this is happening to all of us with 07-08 lately. There's a few threads on here where we all talked about it. Look at the tank to see if there are fuel stains running down it.
