I am having this same exact issue as many on here about the P0455 and other issues. The dealer first told me a year ago that the gas cap was loose. Cleared the code and sent me on my way. Then in Jan of this year, I get the same P0455 code and they replaced the EVAP solenoid as you first did for $187 parts and labor. Now the eng light is back on and had it checked today. Now they say its the tank pressure sensor. $500 to drop the tank and replace the $80 part.

Man - between the oil usage, these sensors, the pinion bearing going out, the crappy door handles & brakes, I'm about done with the POS.

I assume dropping the tank myself isn't something I want to do?

I don't really to be a "basher" but it is frustrating on a car with 80k miles. It's still a lot cheaper to fix this stuff than buy a new one. I just can't help but feel the dealer is chasing codes. Nothing against them either as what choice do they have?

And I tried sending you a PM but it says I can't until I post 10 posts?????????
