Gauge cluster adjustment??

Some of my gauges may be off, the guy who had it before me I believe took it apart and possibly didn't put the needles back in the right spots, is there anyway to adjust them to read properly or to get them to a zero point or starting point?

What gauges do you suspect to be off? From what I've read (and experienced) OBS gauges can be a little funky.

Yes its possible to take apart your cluster and and re position your needles. My suggestion would be to compare gauge operation to an OBD datalog + a GPS for speed prior to doing this.

I think fuel gauge, coolant, and oil pressure maybe, speedo and rpm are good, just trying to verify what they are supposed to be, I know how to reposition the needle I just want know if there's a zero point to be able to put the needle back on at the right position, like reset or something

You can send it to a guy on eBay and fill out a form to make it all legal. I just bought an esky cluster out an 05 and had to do this to put in my Tahoe

you would need exact resistances of the senders at a given value to apply to the cluster to calibrate the gauges.

based on your description check the #4 gauge fuse terminals and circuit for damage or high resistance.

I have an instrument cluster tester for the OBS gauges and sell reconditioned ones. As SunlitComet mentioned the tester gives 2 known positions for fuel gauge, oil press, and temp. System voltage is only one position and the tach/speedometer can be adjusted via a pot.

Not sure where you can get another one. But it does work well. Here's the 0mph test on a standard cluster.
