gauge problems...need advice

hey guys,

my tahoe guages were acting funny, speedo and oil pressure....

so i picked up a 03 denali cluster for 75$ and took out 3 motors and swapped them in, one of them went into the space where the tranny temp guage should be.....

but the tranny temp guage doesnt work!!!????

and i cant find another cluster with a tranny guage anywhere near my mileage

anyone know if the repair places on ebay can fix boards ?


or can i use the old denali guage and have the odometer reprogrammed

how can i get this tranny temp working

You should have just got your miles programmed into the Denali cluster. You can't convert a non-trans temp guage cluster to having a trans temp without re-programming. Look up a place in California called "Speed-O-Tach". I think their website is sotelectronics.com They quoted me a price of $60 to reprogram my miles into a Denali cluster. Every other place I called, including the dealer wanted over 100 bucks to do it.

well i guess i screwed up my first cluster....cuz i just did this again on another cluster and it worked fine.....


but the mileage is off and the dealer wants 100$......
