Gauges??

Is it normal for my 1997 Hoe's fuel gauge level to increase 1/4-1/2 when accelerating and then go back once I start braking. Also the oil pressure gauge does almost the same thing. Thanks

Fuel, yes. The float arm pivots to the rear of the tank, and your tank probably doesn't have any baffles in it. so when you go uphill, or accelerate, you'll read more gas. Your oil guage is different. Not sure what's up there.

When rpms are increased they make the motor work harder obviously, thus circulating more oil and making the pressure go up more...
