Anyone convert their headlights to GE nighthawk LEDs? Not sure it can be done on NNBS yukon. If you could I guess you would half to cut open the lens housing and swap in the 7" round headlight, then seal it back up.

just curious.

Those are sealed beam replacement headlamps.

It makes no sense to try and retrofit them into a Yukon because it'll cost just as much (if not more) to instal them and the output will just be a white version of your existing output. Also, because they are stand alone lamps there's no real way to fasten them to a reflector. Plus you'd not only have to open up your Yukon headlights, you'd also have to open the GE ones so as not to have two cover lenses.

If one is going to go through the trouble of opening lamps and retrofitting something into them, then it makes more sense to use HID projectors.

On a side note, those 4.5" lamps, provided one can find a way to mount them, look like they might be a good application for the NNBS fogs: http://www.gelighting.com/LightingW...Nighthawk-Headlights-Sell-Sheet-July-2013.pdf

^^^This guy knows what he's talking about. I'd listen :) There is a set of yukon retrofit projectors for sale in the For Sale section. Guy paid over $1k and is selling it for around 600-700 shipped. I'd hop on that deal immediately and call it a day.
