Needing some info on swapping front and rear differential gears. i believe that i have the 3:43 gears currently and with the 4" lift and tires i get 12mpg and the truck is constantly shifting gears going down the highway and i dont feel like i have very much power to keep the truck at speed. so i am wondering if a gear change will help with this ?

the only way a gear change would help is by going smaller like a 3.08 but doing that you would have even less power and going to a 3.73 would hurt the fuel economy more
for example at 70 in 6th gear your running 2000rpm going up to a 3.73 would cause you run at a higher RPM at that same speed
its actually a 3.42 ratio is the standerd ratio
what is the over diameter of the wheels have on there
265/65 R 18 are the stock size tires wich have a 29" inch diameter
so if your running lerger tires theyd have to have at least 32" diameter maybe more to hurt your fuel economy like that
your vehicle shifts all time becuase its a 6l80E and the 3rd gear ratio isnt a direct drive or 1:1 ratio its 1.51515 and 4th gear is 1.1515 5th is .85 and 6th is .66 those are really close gears
