Upgrades to the OEM Yukon 21+ headlights

This is such a necessary upgrade to the ‘21-‘24 Yukon headlights. The OEM LED reflector/lens just sucks a$$.

@fondupot did you ever message Lightwerkz to see if they thought they were capable of we purchase the LED module kit from Russia?

I’ve also used sparksmith for headlight retrofits with a good experience. But when I showed them this thread they didn’t feel like this was something they were capable of…

Thank you for the good rating))) Unfortunately, the Yukon headlights are terrible. Nevertheless, the guys have already delivered their kits for more than 10 Yukons this year

I have a 2018 and the light are garbage. I put a set of Ridgid LED fog lights behind the grill (angled them properly) and they throw more light than the headlights…

Rigids give good light, but they do not help like low beam. And I needed a good low beam, because I drive a lot at night)

I filly agree with your statement. I will likely put Morimotos on eventually but cannot afford them now. Your lights look awesome

@CMoore711 i did contact Lightwerkz. They have not had any experience retrofitting any 2021+ Yukons.

Question to the group, is Lightwerkz and Morimoto the same? It looks like Lightwerkz sells Morimoto lights or Morimoto sells Lightwerkz light?

@Bigburb3500 No. Morimoto is a brand and manufacturer of lighting products. Lightwerkz is a vendor/seller of their products (there are other lighting vendors that carry Morimoto also). But Lightwerkz also provides some headlight retrofit services as well.

Honestly that's what I've been looking into, I'm thinking about buying some amber flood/fog pods to put behind the grill. As much as I want a light bar I don't know if it will interfere with the cooling shutters and I need fog lights with all of fog/dust/smoke I've been hitting down here in Southern California this winter.

So I made my own custom harness to plug into the factory harness for the fog lights. I had factory cross members that I attached my light brackets to and the results were great.

There are also options for installing powerful diode fog lights instead of standard ones.

Does not appear to be available yet.

While not cheap, it appears it will include to the 4 Rigid light assemblies that are not cheap. I expect the 4 Rigid lights to be about $530 of the price if this option. Plus t I he price of the Plug and Play wiring harness. I hope the wiring takes into consideration the current requirement and if a relay and direct power connection is required this is part of the package.
