What calculator were you using?

I am planning on building a Denali lifted with 6" 35s and my calcs from stock gearing at 3.42 to lifted tire gear at 3.80s. I was thinking running a 3.90 range for a little extra push to let the 6.2 deliver hp/tq.

The Kon looks great lifted and subtle tires for a classy ride!

Thanks for the feedback guys... The calculator was just one I found online. The tires according to their numbers and the calculator say they should measure 35.4... Sitting still they measure a little more than 34in. In that aspect it helps the gearing out even more power wise. Perhaps once they ballon a bit they are closer to the 35 mark... Dunno just guessing there. Power wise, I'd drive it first and see where you are... Not unless you just have to have the power. I've had my fair share of high dollar modded sports cars and everything seems to be rather trivial after that lol and I'm guessing you aren't rock crawling with it... As far as the 6in. Lift I'm sitting on +20 offset with 7.5in and still had to trim a bit. It seems to be, go big or go home.

Yeah I will wait til I build it and see how the tires effect it. I have driven a Tahoe 5.3L with 35s and stock 3.42s, it wasn't bad but lacked the acceleration when wide open throttle. The 6.2L may not have that issue for me. I think the tires I get may be 34 and some change but with a -12 offset. Just searching parts for the order and figuring out costs including gears.
