So i found a 2000 tahoe limited with a 07 tahoe engine already swaped into it for 3000...The guy selling it couldnt figure out the electrical part of the swap though (sounds like an old timer) and doesnt have the money to hire someone who does. He's had the vehicle for 2 years now and wants to get rid of it! I already know how difficult the electrical portion of the swap is but im not to familiar with the rest of the essential parts needed for the swap. Im going to check the vehicle out later this week and want as much info on the swap as possible before i actually purchase it...any advice would be a great help! thanks:hands:

ligenfelter makes a module for relearning the crank reluctor of that motor, that will let the 2000 pcm run the motor. Thats about the only electrical issue I can think of

This swap is done all the time. Get the box cause its needed as the reluctors are different. As long as you bolt a 80 or 60e tranny you should be all good.. 6 speeds have nothing to work them yet. Knock sensor wire harness has to extend to the sides of the engine etc.. IMO this is a easy swap. I think the converter box is like $300 IIRC
