The tires seem to be reviewed decently everywhere. But anyone I know that's had them over 5-10k says they are shit.

That's pretty much what I'm afraid of... Sucks. I need more red if I'm ever gonna get enough hp to lug some meaty ATs around.

I've had more than one friend review the Hercules tires well, which are in the same price area as the Generals. Might be the direction I go when the time is right.

Mulling this over again.... Seriously can't decide. I'm loving the looks of the x3 in 275/70/18.

I have the Cooper Discoverer STT Pros. Great tire. I do alot of highway driving and just about 20-30% off road mostly sand and mud. Don't deal with snow down here in TX very often. The tire is a long lasting one. Just have to make sure you rotate them every 6-8k miles. because they can get way out of balance if not rotated on time
