Rubber hose

I went to Napa and got some oil resistant hose. If I remember right I think I got 5ft of hose(didn't use all of it). The oil resistant hose is recommended because it wont de-grade over time. Its a little bit more $$ but you won't have to replace it down the road.

Get trAnny line hose. You need a high heat hose that won't collapse and can carry hot oil.

I still believe you have these hoses installed backward (although I believe it will still work either way). Air flow will be coming from the valve cover with oil vapour, it should be routed to the fitting on the side of the can, this air and oil vapour will collect in the bottom of the can and be forced to exit through the filter at the top of the can, which will catch these vapours and cause them to condense and drip back down into the can. This now clean filtered air will exit the can through the top 'foam filtered' fitting and into the vacuum of the intake manifold. Anyone else want to comment on this, am I missing something or do I have something wrong?

But the way I think about it is why would you send the oil vapour filled air through the top of the catch can (where vapour will condense and seep through the filter into the bottom of the can) then have the air from the bottom of the can which is in contact with the condensed oil collected in the can to the intake manifold? Don't you guys think this is a less effective vapour filter??
