Has anyone purchased one of the Factory Service Manuals for their trucks?

I was looking on eBay and saw a digital version for 20 bucks. Im not sure if these are legit or not.

Experiences?

I just enrolled. Not really in depth for the typical DIY. Someone with skills may like diagrams. I like Haynes better as it has more step by step. Both good but for money Haynes better for me. Now a full gm service set is great. I had a 99 Tahoe and had the books. Very nice. Now have 2000 Yukon Denali and wish I hadn't enbayed them years ago.

Yea I have used alldatadiy on prob 30 cars. I actually like it way better than a hynes paper man. Alldata is more car/truck specific than a hynes. Like if your truck is a 5.3 2wd, alldata is for a 5.3 2wd only. On more rare cars like I had a subaru sti alldata was a little lacking but I have it on the tahoe and I think it is quite good. I have used factory manuals too but I can find stuff faster on alldata print it out any size I want and write my notes on it. There is even a section on alldata where you can put your own notes and it stores them.

Is the non-dyi alldata provide more info? On the dyi version I only get a picture and a few steps. Maybe there is more data I can't see??

For example ---
(photo of item)
Step 1. Jack stand vehicle.
Remove wheel
Replace brake pad
Follow reverse when done.

Not really much info.

I am open to pointers.

Yea I guess I never noticed it being vague that much. I use it for diagrams and torque specs, stuff a mechanic does not know off hand. I have worked on so many cars stuff like that I donot even have to think about it anymore.
And yea I am talking about alldatadiy. If you are looking for stuff like that a haynes man would prob be sufficient.

Thanks. I do like the info on alldatadiy. I am fairly mechanically inclined. I will keep looking around. So far both help me out.
