Getting ready to start my Tahoe's system

im somewhat knowledgeable regarding car stereo. However,
I want to put a DD Hu in but i have a 1.5din space. If i could just use a dremel and edge out the bezel that would be great...

wouldnt mind moving the ac controls under the factory tape deck area and tossing a eq in the tape deck spot...

the overview of my system will consist of:

Pioneer AVH-P4400BH Headunit
Clarion EQS746 EQ
2 11inch Headrest
Boston Acoustics GT2300 (mids)
Boston Acoustics GT2200 (highs)
American Bass VFL500.1 (subs)
4 Cadence CVL64MBX Proaudio Mids
4 Db Drive P5-3D Tweeters
2 DC XL15 M2's

overall about 7200RMS. Eventually I'll add 4 more mids and another GT2300 to run them if the 4 arent enough.

you can do a search for a double din mod for those gmt rucks.. they have 1.5 half din so you need to buy an 03 and up dash bezel and modify it..

as far as wiring.. i think you should find your self an adapter.. will make things easier
pre 03 have external chimes.. after 03 the chime its built in the radio..

i found a video showing how it should bone and im gonna do mine that way and cuz the ash tray to correctly fit
