so i am here in houston and was out at a bar one night and the next day i saw someone jacked my center caps off my stock 20's. so i go onto ebay to find a set (dealer wants like $140 and on back order). i find only one full set (used) and bid and win them ($47). so this is the thing that makes me wonder if i just bought my stolen set back. 1. the seller so happens to be out of houston (kinda crazy when i bought mine that this seller was the only one on all of ebay that was selling a complete set of 4) 2. sellers profile has a pic off a business that is around the corner from me. 3. he has sold and is selling numerous sets of center caps (denali, yukon, escalade, tahoe, etc.), no wheels at all, and in a way makes it kinda sound like he had only this one set off his truck in his listing for the ones i bought.

You can always check to see if he has a legit business license, but highly suspicious.

Houston has an auto theft division in the PD. Give them a call and see if they know anything about this dude and if not at least give them the info on him. If he's legal no prob....if not you may get a reward or stop someone else from getting ripped off. Also check for a local "Crimestoppers Hotline" and drop a dime on them....it is done by secret code so you stay protected.

If we stick together we have a chance.....otherwise the a&%holes win.

I carved the last 6 of my VIN on the inside of my caps. Anyone steals them, they'll have a hard time selling them.
