The 22" tires are the Bridgestone Dueler Alenza's. They are the same tire (tread design wise) as have been on my last 2 Yukon Denali's, albeit they were 20". So far they have been working great in the Michigan winter snow we've been gifted with. I'm a fan of the Alenzas, as I got 89k miles out of my last set, and 88k on my prior Yukon. Personally, I'm glad they are these rather than the Conti's that they switched over to on the the 20".

GIven last post in this thread was November, wondering what people are saying now after some insane snowfall in the east. Are you all still running the stock Dueler's or did anyone go with dedicated snows (Blizzak or X-Ice2)? I pick my new truck up this week and do a fair bit of up north driving in cottage / ski country. Was thinking of picking up a set of used 20" rims, painting them black and mounting some winters.

I take the 22' out and put back the 20' with snow tires ( Latitude X-Ice Xi2 ) runs great especial here with all potholes all over.
If you run 22 or plus here in this area congratulation you are the best or maybe you don't even take the car out, lol.

:hmmm2:

Found some old Denali 20" chromes for $400. Was thinking of getting them done with black plastidip and getting dealer to mount blizzaks. Are the tpms sensors same as previous Gen?

In Michigan, I'm running the stock 22" with no problem. Tires run well in snow, especially with all the Stabiltrack, traction control and everything else the Denali has on it. It's fun to turn all that crap off and do a few donuts in the cul-de-sac too.

Exactly this. These vehicles don't even need 4x4 most of the time because the traction control and stabilitrak work so well :)

A very high percentage of the time, even in the big snow we got hit with last week, I run in 2wd. Only if I feel slipping happening do I switch to Auto. I've never fully switched it to 4wd yet.

Can one fit a set of four tires in the back with third row folded?

Some guy has a great deal on 20" silverado takeofffs with tpms and brand new blizzaks. But I have to drive about 45 mins to get them..

Yeah, those'll fit without a problem. Bring a tarp or something, tires can be dirty.

How is the (DOT) there, they quick cover the potholes because here they take for ever to do them. Is embarrassed for the state.
