Can you believe this? I just got a really nice 03 Yukon could have rolled off the showroom floor nice with the exception of a small crack in the windshield. So i call the best glass shop in town to come out and replace the glass with a factory replacement. Anyhow, he must have cracked the old glass and it broke all over the interior. I came out to find him sweeping the last of it that was on the dash down my defrost vents near the front of the windshield. WTF - they also scratched my perfect paint on the roof and left bare metal showing in the cowl area and god knows what bare metal under the top lip. I talked to the owner and he is going to remove the glass, zinc priming the metal etc. but he is vague about the defrost vent. Is it possible and what's involved in cleaning that out? Do i have to remove the dash? This is a nightmare.
