it's not a problem just change the oil and you have NO sludge or dirty oil to damage it
or it will NOT consume oil..
If it does it's operator error check the person behind the wheel..

still BRAND NEW AND CLEAN ENGINE OIL like a just put it in yesterday...
Oil consumption is a operator error....
someone refused to do oil change and think he can get 10-15-20,000 miles while towing or heavy duty service..
The recommended service LIFE is for light duty service like going to the store or work and keeping LOW RPM like 1100-1700 rpm NOT 3500 or 4500RPM that is heavy duty service aka towing..
you change it 4500 miles I was going to do it at 3,000 miles but engine oil was still clean...
No need to change it.. checking it every 500 miles... as well as the level
sludge damages the engine
