Has Gm put out their cai yet for the 6.2l? Also I saw where the Silverado version comes with a ecu tune. What does that do? And is it necessary

To my knowledge, the 6.2's come stock with a CAI. My '07 has one stock.
If you are talking about some GM-specific 'performance' CAI, I do not know about it. If you are looking for some 'significant' performance increase out of a CAI, it does not really exist, except for some additional noise coming from under the hood.
If you want a 'significant' performance increase, and if your truck is 2017 or older, call @BlackBearPerf and discuss your needs regarding a custom tune.
