GM price protection

My dealer honored the msrp on the workbench order, which was over 2k less than the msrp when it finally arrived (almost 10 months later!)

I had a retail sold order and MSRP went up 2k in the 8 months between ordering and delivery. Even though I had the printed build sheet with original MSRP, dealer did not cave in. Not sure if they were able to pocket the difference but I didn’t want to wait another 6+ months for a custom build over 2k…

And this ^^^ is what you can expect concerning price protection. Although GM offers it, every dealer is going to have a different approach on how they handle it.

There have been several dealers on the Ram forums heavily discounting trucks and offering price protection. One of those dealers "stopped" offering price protection a few months ago. Nothing changed from the FCA/Stellantis perspective...general consensus is that dealer is pocketing the price protection difference
