GM Rear Floor Console Insallation?

I recently grabbed one of the rear floor center console for inbetween the 07+ nnbs bucket seats.

I thought it would be simple enough to install, and it looks simple, but for some reason the metal brackets aren't allowed the velcrow underseat trim pieces to go down all the way.

I tried to look up the SI bulletin instructions for it but I need a GMID.

Can anyone help me out here? If I need to trim then I need to trim, but want confirmation before I do so.

No one has any idea? It must require some trimming but I am not exactly sure where and once you cut, no coming back from that.

This is the part # for regular tahoe/yukon/escalade, the ESV/suburban is different.

I figured it out, some trimming of the seat carpet trim is required. Came out great I am happy with it, a little pricey but if you look around for long enough you can get em for around 270.

How large is the inside compartment?

About 8 inches deep, 6 inches wide. Its big enough, but not nearly as big as the front console.
