Can you please make a little effort and bring some context to your opening post?

Right? So its not just me right.

Louis I asked in private if you or GM wanted pics of the fix before you agreed with the dealership's lies. Maybe you should give these pics and the pics of my service records that shows I was within warranty when I brought this in to someone at GM that cares about customers. Can't see how some people sleep at night.

This is directly linked to the thread called "love the truck hate the company"

Oh okay ... perhaps a link in the OP would help those like myself who aren't clued in.

That aside, it seems like this is what your local dealer interprets as a correct fix, which obviously it isn't.

I sure hope you didn't sign off on it and take the truck out of there until it is properly fixed. Once they took on the work it is their responsibility to do it right. The only power you have over them is not accepting substandard work.

As far as GMCS, as I stated in the other thread, their uselessness is disappointing but not unexpected.

They are no help and the dealer cut Ties. I took the truck and told the dealer was unhappy within a day.
Pointe GMC In Nj allows this kind of work and claims they did me a favor by even fixing it. Its worse than when it started. I'm thinking a lawyer.

Did they 'fix' it under warranty ... meaning do you have the receipt that shows that they didn't charge you because it's under warranty?

Plus can't the argument be made that all this should be covered under the corrosion warranty?

If so this might also help: http://www.bbb.org/us/auto-line-lemon-law/

I've never used it but as I understand it GM is a subscriber and abides by the BBB arbitration in warranty disputes.

Might be worth looking into before spending $ on a lawyer.
