GMC EMBLEM PICS PLEASE ! Paint Factory or Aftermarket?

I have seen a couple of members with GMC emblems that are two tone or chrome on the outside edge / color matched on the inside. Is this a painted factory emblem or aftermarket?

you mean the GMC on the grill? if so, take it off, sand it with wet/dry sandpaper, and mask it off. Paint it, and get some clear coat to go over it. Bingo, re-attach :)

Thanks for the replies. just got my HD back from being painted. Still waiting on the factory reinforcement bar behind the bumper cover. I have had it on order since May the 5th. Still not here yet. Will post some pice of the HD hood/painted front grill also.....

I had mine shot with a black and clear thinned mix. I just wanted the red softened and the chrome less flashy:

emay, your truck is freaking bad ass. The more I see pics of it, the more I like it.
Now back the thread topic, its a simple DIY. I did my 94's, the hardest part for me was the masking off. But in the end, it came out looking good.
