Once upon a time, I had an 08 Suburban 1LT. The third row seat was a PIA to get in and out if I wanted to haul stuff. And then finding a clean place to store the third row seats was a chore since the family room was out of the question. Having the manually folding third row in the 2019 Suburban LT is wonderfully easy. Likewise, the instrument cluster and center stack on the 2019 Suburban are much more convenient than the 2008. I get that you like the buttons, but I can tell you that I control the radio with the steering wheel and the climate control is on automatic. In the words of Ron Popeil, “Just set it and forget it.” Easy peasy.

I think that the newer Suburbans are more comfortable and refined than the 2008 Suburbans, not to say that they were not good — because they were very good. It’s just that the 2019 Suburbans are that much better.

One other thought — My 2016 LS Suburban was very close in trim to my 2008 1LT Suburban. The current LT has more creature comforts.

2013 tahoe lt and 2019 yuk den xl here.

Love my 13, wife always complained about the climate control in it though, dial radio with buttons (until i changed it to touch screen)

Love my 19 and it has touch screen radio and dials for climate control

Use steering wheel controls for radio on both anyway and i pulled the storage in the of the back of the yuk so its flat. Tahoe and yuk are now at the exact same floor height.

Same exact truck in a different wrapper is all.

i can drive as many as 5 different vehicles in any given day and i have no problem touching buttons or changing radio stations.... the thing that gets me the most is the windshield wipers....most are the turn signal stalk but there’s that 1 vehicle that is on the right side of the column....

many people will tell this is better on this tahoe model, that is better on the other yukon model ...etc etc... go drive a newer model and see if you like it if not pick up something a little older... your choice.

personally, i disliked the 15+ models..... until I bought one.

This raised bed would drive me absolutely nuts. I'm sure it was done to allow a folding 3rd row, but I'd rather just remove the 3rd row seat and have a true flat bed in the back.

I think I meant the 2021 Tahoe fixes this. I just saw a picture of a 2020 Tahoe and see the same issue.
