So I decided I want to get rid of my 10 Platinum and go with a used 15 Escalade. Then I decided to go CPO and trying to find a Silver, Premium, CPO, with decent miles, in great shape has me pulling the hair out of my head! Just this week I stumbled upon the sale of Denali's. Some dealers are discounting 2018's about 5-7k which is still a little more than I wanted to spend but hey, its a brand new 2018 with 10 speed trans! Not a 3 year old possible headache.

Then I noticed they are blowing out the 2017's with 15% off which is approximately 9-13k off! AND they are offering 0% APR for 72 months. I really want an Escalade but really don't want to spend the money and go new. Really like the idea of having a new car with a full warranty but I am torn! Buying a car shouldn't be this stressful!

I just don't want to get the Denali and be miserable regretting I didn't get an Escalade. So do I spend 55-62k on a 2 or 3 year old Escalade or spend 65-69k and get a brand spanking new Denali. Then the question becomes do I go for a 17 or 2018? The 18 is few more grand but no 0% APR. The price just keep climbing along with my blood pressure. Time for a xanax.....

Any input is greatly appreciated!

My input:

1. Take a Xanax
2. Decide, with aid of Xanax, how much you wish to spend.
3. Look at your options based on #2.
4. Take another Xanax.
5. Make a firm decision.
6. Take action only within the confines of your firm decision.

So many options! If I were in your predicament I would take the '17 and take the discounts and 0%. Have you driven both all of them? 17 and 18 definitely have some bugs worked out that you would probably experience on the 15. My Tahoe is a 15 with 30k. Im having little issues come up and am starting to plan its replacement in the next year or two just to have something new and under a full bumper to bumper warranty.

I personally wanted to wait until this month or even January for a blowout sale to get a 17 Denali.

Long story short...we decided to go with an 18 a little before Halloween time and don't regret it one bit.
Have had a couple of people that were in new Escalades compliment the truck and a few more that stare at it as if they've never seen one before. Don't know if it's the color(Mineral Metallic) and wheel combo or what.

I'd say get an 18 and don't look back!
