Ok I have a 95 2 door yukon and will be planning to put a 6" lift on it, I understand that Dick Cepek used to make the best lift but they are no longer available. I also understand that Rough Counrty makes a good quality lift now. Are there any others that I should consider looking at and ones that I should stay away from. I also want understand that I need a "bracket lift" but I am not exatly sure what that means.

I am considering between a Rough Country lift and a Superlift, please list any pros and cons for both of these lifts.

I am currently having the transmission reworked, then I will be doing performance upgrades, then some body work, new paint, and then lift and tires will be going on last.

Dick Cepek and Rancho were always preferred as the best height and strength. I personally had the Dick Cepek and loved it, but if I was going to buy a kit now I would prolly go with a FTS kit (since you can't buy the cepek anymore).

I found a super lift for right at $1100 and the rough country sells for $995. I think I will go with the superlift b/c they seem to have quality componets and good customer service from what I understand..

the only other thing is what needs to be done to add a "shock hoop" and have 2 set of shocks for each side of the vehicle, I think that it makes it look good and stand out.
