ive installed an alpine cde-123 headunit and i love it. ive replaced the front door speakers with some pioneer G1643R 6.5s and i have a set comming for the rear door too. im going to remove the ones from the roof all the way in the back since ill have subs eventually.

whats a good amp for those 4 speakers? would i just need a 4 channel 2-300 watt amp? whats the best speaker wire to get or can i just get some from like radio shack or somewhere. and i guess the best place to put the amp would be under the seat? i have chains and straps under the rear seats so id rather put it under one of the front seats.

The size depends what the speakers put out, whats the rms combined and what's the peak combined... but a 4 channel is what you need.

30 watts rms? A OEM amp from a stock Bose system could do that nicely. See if you can find locally. And for that little power you can use 18 ga wire from Radio Shack.

they go about 25-35 watts continuous. get me the year and model details of where the amp came from and I can email you the pinouts/schematics on how to hook it up.
