Good converter stall for towing

Hey guys, I'n new to this forum but not new to online forums... So I'm well aware of the search function! I'm in the process of rebuilding the trans in my wifes 04 Tahoe Z71... and she wants more power and it to shift strong and pull like my vette which will never happen. We use it to tow my ZO6 around for racing and I'm curious to hear what stalls others may have used in rebuilds or changes and tow with as well. I appreciate your guys input.

Not sure what the stall speed of mine is, but when I did rebuilt my tranny two years ago, I put an rv rated converter in mine, also the corvette servo and super hold 4th gear accumulator, as well as had the bigger boost valve installed. Also got "the beast" sun shell, 5 pinion planetary, performance clutches, and I'm sure some other parts and pieces that I'm forgetting. Don't forget to upgrade your trans cooler too.

Im curious on the same thing. Im currently rebuilding my trans and would like to beef it. Its a 4l65e with 6.0 engine 2002 denali. Thanks in advance

keep it stock, to much stall, and it will create a lot of heat.
Go ahead and put the good parts into the trans but keep the stall around 1350-1600

Go with a Tru Cool 40k. And as mentioned above, about a 2500 would be sufficient, Id prefer a triple disc.

And with a good bit of coin, she could pull just as strong as your Z06
