OnStar just added support for your vehicle to the OnStar MyLink iPhone app - which remote starts your truck from anywhere (if you have remote start) as well as show you fuel levels, etc. Will be doing this for our '10 Escalade today. :D

Nope, not yet, at least. I'm thinking if they can add it to 2010, maybe they can add it to the others. But maybe not because I know the 2010+ OnStar modules behind our radios have newer software.

It's about time. I just downloaded and tried it. It's pretty neat. There is also a MyGMC app that integrated with MyLink to help you remember where you park and how long the meter has been running. It's not a big deal but any little thing that GM willing to do on their products is good effort in my view :)

Ugh, the mylink doesn't work with 09s ... And here I am limited to remote start from my living room like a sucker. I mean, how convenient would it be to be able to start my truck from anchorage? Very convenient indeed! :)

Well, the reason I bought the GM 2-way extended range remote was so I could remote start it from school or my bedroom, where I usually don't have range, and it doesn't reach either. So having this would be useful if they would just add it to the 2007-2009 year models. I really don't see how it could be so hard.

well i downloaded the ap ) i have a 2010 denali and my subscription is about up.

1. aps downloaded and registered just fine-- when i went to start asked for PIN--- had no clue-- called onstar they set it up
2. so then entered pin and then it said i had to go to onstar.com/mobile to activate mobile functions.
3. got hold of onstar rep and they gave me a price of 249 ( no tax) for another year of the everything package ( which needs onstar to be active for the iphone mygmc link to work) it equates to 20.75 / month-- has anyone gotten a better or know of a better deal and how to get it?

thanks
skippy

Does anyone have a llink for setting remote commands-- i cant find it

nevermind-- just got off with onstar and she said that some 2010 models are iphone remote start capable, like the acadia and possibly the yukon XL, but not the yukon denali? thats strange--- anyway she said it was forthcoming though.
