Finally decided to give my wife's Denali a little change up. Went with a 2" suspension max spacer lift on the front and nothing in the rear. 18" XD wheels with 285/55/18 Toyo AT tires. I personally am not a fan of the larger wheels and prefers more tire for the off-road look. Now what to do with all the chrome. Will remove the side molding and badging but what is everyone doing about around windows , roof rails, and chrome on steps. I called my local wrap guy and he said the vinal will shrink in a few months and would have to be redone. I could plasti dip them but I am not a huge fan. Does anyone know the part numbers for the non chrome window trim. I am afraid if I try to remove to paint they will be damaged so it would be better to replace. Any suggestions would be great.

Looks really good. I too would love to find the part numbers for any non-chrome window trim but so far have lucked out. About to do a wrap on it instead. Also, hadn't heard about the vinyl wrapping shrinking and needing to be redone so far. I just did a vinyl wrap on some of the chrome up front on my Tahoe and it has not shrunk and that has even been in the 105+ degree temps.

You'll be fine with a vinyl wrap as low mg as there's good clean cuts and nice job done with tucking the vinyl into the grooves. I wrapped my brother 2012 Silverado front end and it's just fine and it's been over 8 months

I felt the exact same way

I went paint everywhere except roof rails, which are vinyl wrapped (they are silver in this picture but black now)

My guy didn't break anything when removing the parts to be painted

I bought the matte black roof rails but found out later that you have to drop the headliner to undo the mounting bolts, not a fan

Looks so much cleaner. Looks like I will be paining. Much more permanent fix. Agree about the roof rails.

Looks amazing! Did you just have the chrome painted? Or did you have the shiny black pillars painted as well?

The window trim, rear view mirror trim and door side molding are painted black

The roof rails are (now) vinyl wrapped black
