I've used Gatorback on two on my GM's (Sierra and Tahoe) and I had decent results on my Sierra (5.0L), but after 3-4 months and 1k miles the Gatorback began to sequel on the Tahoe (5.7L). I had the second belt checked and it seemed a bit loose, maybe I stretched it out or got a bad one, I have no idea.

It was more than likely the wrong belt. The same exact thing happen to me before I bought my gatorback, in roughly the same amount of time.

I put gatorbacks on my wife crv a couple years back and changed them out within 2 or 3 months. belts were fine but made an loud whine(like a fake supercharger sound...anyway thats what I tried to tell my wife). even brought to a mechanic to verify I wasnt stupid and over tensioning them. ours was obs honda and it used 3 separate belts. the killer was that one belt went around a motor mount. real pain to change those. experience kind of soured me since it was such a pain to change once never mind twice just to throw away some money.
