I just got a 2000 escalade about 2 months ago and i started collecting my system for it.. Here is what i got so far so lmk what you think.. I just need a good eq and all my wiring.. I got a pioneer avic-n3 w ipod adapter, infinity kappa perfect 6.1 components for front doors, kappa perfect 5.25 components for rear doors, kappa 6x9's for rear roof.. Boston acoustics gt-42 4ch for my doors(need another amp for 6x9's) i also got 2 boston acoustics spg555's and 2 boston gt-28 amps for the subs... I need a custom box for the subs and 0 gauge wiring for my power wire and so i can do my big 3.. I have the good fuses already and rca's... Only ****** thing is i only have surface mounts for my tweeters instead of flush mounts so id like your guys opinion on mounting them so they dont look terrible being surface mounted.. Thanks

That will be sweet system man... Those 4x10s blowww. I need to get a set of 6x9s for my ride also. How hard is it to rewire them though? Do you have to pull the roof lining off?

^nah, the grille over the speaker just basically is snapped up in there, just grab with your hands on the front and back of it and pull in towards the center and then down on the grille

sorry if thats kinda confusing, lol

Oh no that comes off very easily. Haha. But did you or are you going to run new wiring for them? You are going to run them on a new amp correct?

i havent ran new wires, but i wouldnt think it would be that hard, you can get to the trim by the rear doors from up there right?

if so just pop the trim off and run the wire up there and push into the head liner and pull slack up to the speaker

i would thkn thats how that would work in our trucks

@ Alc5m- yea I think thats probably how it would work. Just wondering if you had done it before.

@ JBLEEZE33- Thats a damn hard decision... I would probably do the trade since I personally hate the stock rims. Who would come out better off on the deal?
