Got my Airaid today!

I got my Airaid jr. today. What a nice way to start the day. Easy install. Sounds awesome. Then spent the better part of the day trying to get rid of swirl marks. Unfortunately my cutting pad was spent so it didn't get rid of all of them but some of them. I need to get more pads to make it look better than new.

Oh and definitely need to clean the bay.

Just did mine today also. Took about 45 minutes. Didn't have a chance to drive it, but will first thing tomorrow.

Next might get an exhaust to add a nicer sound. Debating which one to go with.

I'm not gonna do an exhaust. After driving loud cars, I really like having a quiet one. Plus my mr2 will become even louder soon so I'll keep the quiet. Custome exhaust is probably the way to go. The bolt ons are kinda pricey.

A tune would help get the most out of it. I'll be getting Autocal from Black Bear after a while. But for now it did make the truck sound better and definitely picks up better than stock.

You may see a drop in fuel economy/ performance as the ECM adjusts for the intake. I notice a bump in performance followed by a drop in fuel economy with normal driving after i installed my Airaid. You'll love the BB tune when you get it!

What kind of gains are to be had with this intake and BB tune? How much is the Autocal?
