Got my aldl cable and did data log

Yes this issue sure is giving me a challenge, but Im not beat yet. No, I havent tried replacing the ecm, but it is something im going to start looking at. Funny that you mentioned replacing the coil with a cid type because the miss almost feels like when you disconnect a spark plug wire and the vehicle is running. But the fact that it runs great otherwise, and looking at the data with Sun, and finding nothing out of the ordinary is kinda leaning me to something mechanical internal that sensors in the ecm (or is it pcm, since it controls just about everything electronically) isnt catching..

when you 've put a timing light on it can you tell where in the firing order the studder is? maybe its as simple as a bad resistor in a plug.

Stock cam btw.. everything is stock.. I knew I shoulda picked up the 99 instead... But this one is so fricking clean and almost rust free.. So I'll just have to put up with the old tbi crap for now..

Hmm.. havent tried that.. will do.. All the plugs are new and the same issue was there before I changed the plugs. I did take them out and compared the old ones also and they are not fouled, not saturated, no carbon build up, steady even burn on all of them.

well if your burn is good over 500rpm your plugs might not show it on them.
